Thales Alenia Space ETCA develops, manufactures and markets electronic and software products for the space and the telecom sectors as well as for professional applications. The company is the European leader in satellite power conditioning and distribution. More than 150 satellites currently in orbit feature equipment built by the company. Thales Alenia Space ETCA is also the main supplier of on-board electronics for the rocket Ariane 5. As the leading European supplier of checkout systems for launchers, it has delivered most of the control benches for the Ariane family (Ariane 1 to 5).
