Agral
Dairy solutions, daily!
Many different kinds of butter
For over 30 years, Agral has enjoyed an undeniable reputation in the field of producing and processing milk products: traditional butter, functional butter, flavoured butter in different shapes, sizes and presentations. Half of the 8,000 tonnes of butter produced by Agral is marketed under its own brand names (Massaux, Les Coteaux, Cabay,...). The other half is destined for major retail distribution chains (Aldi, Carrefour, Colruyt, Cora, GB, Match, Mestdagh,?), or for industrial customers (bakers, confectioners).
Investment, growth and exportation
Thanks to the company's dynamic investment policy, research and development and a continual quest for quality, Agral is in constant progression with, notably, an increase in turnover of 20% in 2003. The company is also successful on the export markets with 25% of production going to France, the Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Luxembourg or other non European Union countries.
Why our region?
Proximity to many of its customers as well as its scientific partner, the Gembloux Faculty of Agronomy, motivated Agral to set up business in the region and to stay there from the outset.
