HYDRO-BIO
Effective, economical and ecological treatment to reduce the hardness of water
Hydro-Bio s.a. has created and developed SoluCalc, a new, effective, economical and ecological treatment for hard water which is based on the transformation of calcium (in the form of calcium carbonate) into calcium bicarbonate, which is 70 times more soluble.
SoluCalc makes a well-timed appearance on the market, as a replacement for softeners, which are known to be very effective, but which also lead to waste and pollution of between 10 and 30% of water when resins are rejected as well as the discharge of brine and the availability of low level drinkable water after softening.
The SoluCalc technique is not well-known, and its commercial network needs to be developed both in Belgium and throughout the western world (the EEC, Africa, the Americas) SoluCalc can be used wherever hard water poses a problem. Our client-base is incredibly broad, ranging from private individuals to communities and industries.
The manufacturing and sales and installation network helps create a lot of jobs, and promises a great future for SoluCalc.
Why our region?
The Charleroi-South Hainaut region is perfectly located for SoluCalc's development. Benefits include: access to Belgian companies (our suppliers) which helps us react quickly to clients' needs, the transport network is particularly well-developed (European motorways and a flourishing airport), the opportunity to find multilingual staff, the link between the South and North of Europe, the warmth and helpfulness of the locals (clients, suppliers etc.)
