Méli-Jo has specialized in the production of sprouting seeds and young shoots since 1984. Alfalfa, leak, broccoli, lentils, radishes, cabbage and much more are cultivated on its 2,000m2 using seeds, light, air and water. Nothing else is utilized in the production of these natural foodstuffs, which are well known for their energetic properties as well as for their high vitamin and mineral content. To round off its concept of living foodstuffs, the company has also developed an easy-to-use and effective seed tray, which comes complete with an instruction and recipe book, to produce sprouting seeds successfully at home.

Producer and distributor

Méli-Jo ensures the distribution of the various products linked to living foodstuffs: from the protein-filled sprouting seed caviar that replaces meat or fish to seaweed or flower pollens to grass juice. The company sells a wide range of ECOCERTcertified organic seeds wholesale and retail. The company exports its products to France, the Netherlands and Great Britain. Its customers include individual consumers as well as the hotel and catering industry and large supermarket chains. Méli-Jo is also an exclusive distributor for juice extractors.

Why our région?

As natives of the region, the company's founders set up their business in the area because of the availability of spring water and because it had the climate required for hydro-culture.
